    Diplomová práce Člověk v zahradě světa – Scénografie pro divadlo poezie se zabývá průzkumem termínu divadlo poezie, jeho historií a současným významem pro české divadlo z pohledu scénografa. Komentuje několik současných inscenací, které z poezie vychází či čerpají. Obsahuje popis komplexního scénografického řešení čtyř semestrálních projektů a zkoumá jejich vzájemné tematické vztahy s přesahem do jiných oblastí vědění. Tyto semestrální projekty vychází z textu básnické sbírky Divoký kosatec (Louise Glück), surrealistické divadelní hry Krvavá svatba (Federico García Lorca), Biblické knihy Jób a divadelního textu Popis obrazu (Heiner Müller). Komplexní scénografické řešení jednotlivých projektů je zastoupeno popisem koncepcí a doplněno výtvarnými návrhy v příloze práce.

    Tato práce zabývá projektem mého magisterského studia, zaměřeného na existencialismus a absurditu lidského života. Práce se zabývá dramatickými texty, které jsem zpracovával v průběhu magisterského studia na KS. Jsou to následující tituly: Jan Weiss: Dům o tisíci patrech, Josef Čapek: Země mnoha jmen, George Büchner: Vojcek a především J. W. Goethe: Faust I. Práce poukazuje na společné jmenovatele předepsaných titulů a sleduje významovou linku konfliktu jedince a společnosti. Hledá komplexní scénografická řešení pro zde jmenované dramatické tituly. Hlavním tématem této práce je komplexní scénografické řešení hry J. W. Goetha: Faust I. Zbylé dramatické tituly sloužily, jako příprava před prací nad tímto dramatickým textem.

    The topic of this Master thesis is an analysis of the female positioning in societies throughout the years. Derived by the theatrical play ‘Lulu’ that is consisted by The Earth Spirit and Pandora’s Box and written by the German playwright Frank Wedekind (1864-1918). Matters as the depiction of femininity and its subtle connection with the politics around female clothing, in a more modern concept, enriched my research on the topic and extended it to contemporary aspects of social favoritism, marginalization and how porn industry uses female body. I hereby try to point out that discrimination is not based on personal factors but it could be aiming anyone not complying with the norm that society and fashion industry dictated.
  • Religion in beat generation and madness as identity

    This thesis is a scenographic and sociological research, by taking reference from Allen Ginsberg’s Howl as well as Beat Generation, it covers the topics of eclectic religious undertone found in the literature of the Beatniks and how was this religious aspects were providing the sense of community, new consciousness and identity for the misfits in the counterculture. Second part, to be able to find a correlation between the “Howl” and the non-conforming poetic quality of it, non traditional theatre types are covered. Third part of the thesis is visual outputs from reimagining the poem as an immersive theater experience by sticking to interpretation of the text under the topics of religion&madness.

    The topic of this Master thesis is an in depth analysis of Henrik Ibsen's, The Wild Duck. In the beginning, an introduction to Henrik Ibsen's work and style is presented. Consequently, follows my personal analysis of the play and the characters, in order to approach a visual interpretation for the main dramatic situations and the costumes of each character with sketches and storyboards. The main aim is to present a contemporary aspect of the play through visual elements, which came through the process of my research.
